1949 Calvin Roy Kinstler Brass Horse Doorstop for Virginia Metal Crafters

Signed solid brass door stop of the triple crown winning horse, Citation. The artist Calvin Roy Kinstler was commissioned in 1949 to sculpt this horse and commemorate Citations victory. It is very heavy and very high quality. It is stamped on the back with the foundry mark, and “18-9, copyright 1949, CRK”
