Antique Staffordshire Pottery Poodle Figurine with Sponged Coat

A charming antique Staffordshire-style ceramic poodle figurine, featuring a classically textured sponged or coiled coat in cream and blush tones with hand-painted facial details and a painted collar with locket. This beloved 'comforter dog' style was a staple of Victorian mantelpiece décor, prized for its folk-art character and endearing naïve expression. A wonderful piece for collectors of antique pottery, dog lovers, or anyone looking to add a touch of vintage whimsy to their home.
