Pinheiro majolica pitcher from Portugal

This charming pineapple-form pitcher is a delightful example of trompe-l'œil majolica-style pottery, featuring richly textured relief work glazed in vibrant yellows and greens with a blush-pink interior. The sculptural detail captures every scale of the pineapple's skin, crowned with leafy fronds that form the lip, while a branch-form handle adds a rustic, naturalistic touch. A whimsical yet functional piece perfect for the maximalist tablescape or a curated display of botanical ceramics.
